How to Create a Hibernation Shortcut

Here's how to create a hibernation shortcut...

Right click on desktop->new->shortcut to open the shortcut wizard..

now type C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState
Hibernate...click next and give it any suitable name like "hibernation
shortcut"...now click finish to close the wizard...

here C:\ is the windows root partition...change it accordingly.. You
may use %systemdrive% instead of C:\

you can also do it by typing shutdown -h -t 00

for restarting... type shutdown -r -t 00
